One of the causes near and dear to us at H2Meyer Photography is the environment. Which is why we were honored and delighted when one of our clients, The Freshwater Trust asked us to be part of their 2011 “reThink” Annual Gala & Auction. We are donating our photography services to one of their live auction packages for a Personalized Party for 25 at The Treasury Ballroom. The Gala & Auction will be held February 25th at the Portland Art Museum.
Last week we had the pleasure of photographing a wonderful family and their beloved dog and cats. Among them was this frisky fellow, who bonded with me as soon as we walked in for our second day of shooting. We had so much fun with them, we’re planning to have a little caption contest on our Facebook page in the next few days.

The Ex-Girlfriends Club was the “opening” act of the Trypotophan Jam at the Someday Lounge the day after Thanksgiving. But in terms of energy and intensity they pretty much stole the show! They are a super fun band to photograph, and really nice to boot. I expect we’ll be seeing more of each other in the future. Check them out live!
