The Ex-Girlfriends Club was the “opening” act of the Trypotophan Jam at the Someday Lounge the day after Thanksgiving. But in terms of energy and intensity they pretty much stole the show! They are a super fun band to photograph, and really nice to boot.  I expect we’ll be seeing more of each other in the future.  Check them out live!

Here is a slideshow of images I shot at Sunset Valley’s final performance at the Doug Fir lounge on January 18, 2009. I decided to go light and inconspicuous that night, opting to shoot with a fixed 24mm f/2.8 and a D300, sans grip.
