We’re taking a big leap this year and running our biggest advertising campaign ever! And we have chosen to work with the only directory we actually use, the ReDirect Guide. If you are not already familiar with them, the ReDirect Guide is “The Healthy & Sustainably Lifestyle Directory” with editions in Portland/Vancouver, Salt Lake City/Park City, and Denver/Boulder/Ft Collins. Their mission is to “foster the growth of the sustainable business community, facilitate green lifestyles, and empower consumers to leverage their everyday purchasing decisions into powerful and measurable support for social responsibility, environmental stewardship, and healthy communities.” It is truly a badge of honor to be a Certified Green Business, and we’ll be wearing ours proudly. The print edition with our ads will be available on Earth Day, April 22, 2013. In the meantime, check out our listing on the website – there are coupons! And be sure to share this with friends who might want to save a little green while being green.

It is time, however, to focus on the business, and as such I have gotten myself a mentor. Ethan Jewett, a good friend and wonderful talent has agreed to take me under his wing. This will definitely keep me busy for a while. I think I’m already booked solid for the week! I’m very excited and grateful for the tutelage.
My very good friends Albert & Maureen host a grand dinner party a couple times a year, each with an inspired theme. My favorite part, aside from seeing great friends and meeting new people is definitely the “party piece” performed by each guest. It can be a song, poem, reading, or some other talent that is shared with the group. While this may sound terrifying, even the shy folks put on an inspired performance. I took along my camera for the most recent party, which had a theme based on the Algonquin Round Table of Dorothy Parker fame. You can view the gallery on my PhotoShelter Archive.
